Use an oil free cleanser to wash your beautiful lash extensions. Buildup may cause your lash line to itch and may also cause premature lash loss. Reasons for lash loss besides natural growth:
~ Oils, natural/makeup/pillowcase/face products (use oil free products as much as possible, use only specified lash extension mascara if desired. Wash pillowcases frequently, use a silk pillowcase)
~ Humidity (a sealant would help protect lashes from humidity caused loss)
~ Picking/pulling/rubbing (avoid doing these to prevent premature lash loss)
~Getting wet too soon after application (wait 24hr before getting lashes wet following application)
~Vitamins/meds (some vitamins speed up natural lash growth/certain medication may cause hair loss)
~Eye watering during lash application (some clients water more than others, as a lash artist I try my best under all circumstances)

Brush Lashes Daily
Brush lashes after getting them wet, when you wake up as well as daily. This will keep them defined and detangled whilst also cleaning out any debris.
Ditch Cotton Pads, Wipes or Q-tips
Cotton pads, wipes and q-tips can leave behind fluff and cause you a world of annoyance trying to pick it all out. This does more damage than good! Use non-cotton and lint free wipes or a doe foot brush with an oil free extension cleanser to remove dirt and daily build-up.
Do Not Use Regular Mascara
!Ever!
If you insist on using a mascara even after extensions, do not ever use mascara that contains oil (of any kind). Even one use can reduce the longevity of your lashes by 50 percent! For how much time and effort (and money) that is put into your wonderful lashes, it just isn't worth using any old mascara. I can supply you with mascara specified for lash extensions, just let me know!
Avoid Constant Hot and Humid
Constant heat and moisture weakens the adhesive bond, causing premature extension loss. For that reason please keep sauna, steam room and tanning visits to a minimum. Take care when opening an oven or BBQ, this heat also has a negative effect on your lash extensions. If you are planning on a tropical vacation, I insist on you purchasing Seal and Shine Sealant. This sealant protects your extensions from the humidity and insures you get to show off those beauties poolside! It is available in clear and jet black and is provided upon request.
When applied properly, lash extensions do not harm your natural lash. Always choose a certified reputable lash artist!!
Get Regular Fills
To insure your lashes stay lush and beautiful you must get fills regularly. As your natural lash grows, the extension grows out with it. Once a lash gets too long it would need to be replaced as it may cause discomfort or get twisted. Your natural lash also sheds daily (2-5 lashes), this means the extension would go with it. Make sure you book when you have around 50 percent extension left, once you get to a certain point of lash loss (around 35 percent) you may be charged for a new set.
The better you take care of your lashes, the longer they will last and the more I will thank you when fill time comes!
